Ms. Tina / Director + Lead Teacher
Masters of Education, American Montessori society Credential

Ms. Tina grew up in Tokyo, Japan, attending a Montessori pre-school/kindergarten, and graduated from an International school here in Tokyo as well.  She knew from a very young age that she wanted to work with children and dreamed of eventually starting her own pre-school. She worked at various international schools, kindergartens and pre-schools, both traditional and Montessori, but found that the Montessori method spoke volumes to her and she was amazed at the effect it had on children.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies at Santa Clara University (CA) and went on to receiving her Masters in Education and Montessori Credential at Chaminade University (HI).

Mrs. Barbara / Co-director + Assistant Teacher

Mrs. Barbara is also a graduate from a Catholic International school in Yokohama. She has a reputation for being "everyone's mama." Her love for children began when she was a small child herself; she always had a tendency to look out for and care for others around her.  Ms. Barbara is the co-director as well as the assistant teacher for Ms. Tina and is there to support and rear the children.
